| At age 14, I was in no place to try and raise a child. It would not have been right for me or my child. Placing my son in the family he’s meant to be in was by far the hardest yet the best decision that I have and will have ever made! Now my son has the opportunity to have a stable life, which I was unable to provide for him. I am so thankful with how the whole situation turned out. My son’s family is amazingly perfect! I love all of them and they love me! We are family. They support me in all I do and they have helped me in more ways than they know! After graduating high school, I have now moved on to college and plan to graduate in the next few years. My son is my main motivation. I want to do great things in my life so my son can look up to me. I want him to be proud of his birthmother when he grows up. Through open adoption I have the joy of being able to watch my son grow and show him all my love for him, while I can work on me growing up as well. I’m so thankful to be involved in his life! |
